Part-01
What would you suggest a visitor should see and do in your country?
A visitor should visit historical places, our longest seas beach, Coz’s Bazaar, the largest mangrove forest, the Sundarban. They can enjoy different festival taking place all the year round. They should also eat our especial cuisines and foods and enjoy panoramic views of our countryside and south-eastern hill tracts. We are full of rivers, so river-cruise is popular among tourists.
Are there any traditional arts or music you recommend?
They can view our sculpture and paintings. Foreign visitors should visit our different art galleries and enjoy various live band shows. They can visit our national museum and different historical places lied all over the country. They can enjoy folk song programs observed in our villages.
Tell me about the kind of foreign visitors or tourist who go to your country?
Different types of visitors visit our country. Businessmen, entrepreneurs, tourist, foreign students, artists usually travel to our country. People from Japan, China, Korea, the UK, and the USA are common visitors.
In what ways has tourism changed in your country?
Now transportation and communication sectors are more developed. Road and water transportations are now up to the mark. New hotels, restaurants, bar, casino etc are being built near popular tourist spots.
What sort of drawbacks do you have in the way of tourism?
Although we have a successful future in this sector, it seems to me that our government isn’t enough concerned regarding it. I believe policy maker should establish a proper budget for modern amenities and infrastructure. As a consequence we will be able to catch the eye of the world with glittering appearance. In addition, our political turmoil is a hindrance for tourism in our country.

The most memorable event happened in my life when I was in class 8. It was January 1, 2003. On this day, I heard I got talent pool scholarship. It was unexpected news to me while I was worried about the exam. My parents were so happy that we did throw a party in our house. Many friends and family members came for get-together and enjoyed the party. We had had especial foods and danced with music. This event was important and memorable to me because it encouraged me to further study and do well in the future exam.





Part-3:
How important are ceremonies in y our lives?
Ceremonies are very important in our personal lives. Birthday, marriage day, akika etc encourage people to do better in future life. These ceremonies refresh our body and mind, make stronger bondage among people. They enjoy get together and exchange greetings.
Do you see the role of public and private ceremonies changing in the future?
Now people enjoy ceremonies by talking over mobile phones and chatting on the internet. They send sms, mms and talk over cell phone and exchange greetings. They also send e-mail, greetings card or e-card via the net.
Have attitudes to marriages changed in recent years?
Yes, now young people want to marry later in life. They are now ambitious and more career-oriented. Besides, women are going for jobs and want to be self-dependent. It’s better we, marry later in life as population is already booming.
In what ways do men and women feel differently about marriage, in your opinion?
In these days, more women are educated and are working outside. They want to be self-dependent. Men also like to marry employed women to have more financial solvency in family. In earlier times, people used to marry in their 20s, but now they marry at 30s.

Do the media in your country pay more attention to global or national events?
Our media gives more attention to national and global events. Global events like United Nations day, World Environment day, Human Rights day, International Mother Language, May Day get more media attention. However, National day, Victory day, Mother Language Day, Eid day etc are national events which have media coverage.
