Presentation Skills

Day 34
WELCOME SPEECHES FOR PARTIES
Good Evening,
A warm word of welcome to everyone tonight as we celebrate (insert event or occasion).
Tonight is a exceptional evening -  I am so glad that so many special  people have been able to join us this evening.
As, always, to absent friends - we still miss you.
But, tonight is all about celebrating!
It brings to mind the all too true words that at times, we should "dance like no-one is watching"!
And tonight is one of those nights!
Let's capture some magical moments, let's create happy memories and let's surround ourselves with laughter and friendship as we celebrate this special occasion.
Have fun, thank you for joining us and go on…dance a little...like no one is watching!

SPEECH ON A AWARD GIVING CEREMONY
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It gives me great pride to be here today, judging what must be the finest, most wonderful exponents of dance in this country. It is also an honor that I have been given an opportunity to represent my company (company name) at such a huge occasion!

They say fortune favors the brave and it indeed takes a lot for kids of such tender age and perform here in front of all these people, on prime time television. Many of us can dance, but only in the comfort of our homes, but hopefully the exhibition of talent we saw today might inspire our hidden talents to come forward!

It was a tough competition to judge indeed. The level of performances has been absolutely top-notch. But the one performer that stood out because of his/her sheer determination, talent and energy in the performance only will take away the prize. So without further ado, the winner of this competition is (name of the winner)!
Congratulations (name of the winner)! Could you come on stage and say a few words about your experience?

SPEECH ON A GRADUATION DAY
Dear friends, we have gathered here today to celebrate our graduation. It is momentous event, because it marks the ending of the whole era of your lives. Years at university were special, because they helped us to become individuals we are today. Personally I am sure that without that precious experience my life would be something completely different. I would not have such features of character as determination, self-confidence, purposefulness and commitment. I can state this clearly: my university helped me to become a person I am now. Special thanks are to my learning team members who helped me a lot, guided and supported me. It was due to their backing that I completed my undergraduate degree in about three years, then took two weeks off and immediately started pursuing an MBA. I succeeded, and tonight I am standing in front of you.
I want to thank you all again. I hope that you weren't too tired of my speech. These were my heartfelt emotions. I want Phoenix University to be proud of its graduates. I will do my best to demonstrate that world outside that Phoenix University graduates are the best specialists a business can have.

Good luck, fellows! Let's show them who we are! Thank you.

SPEECH ON BIRTHDAY CEREMONY
I have been looking forward to this day ever since the moment that my daughter was born.  With each passing birthday, a couple of things come to mind.  First of all, it makes me feel old to see (name of birthday person) growing up so quickly.  However, I am quickly consoled in the fact that with each passing day, she is one day closer to getting off my payroll!

On her (enter year) 21st birthday, I always remember holding (name of birthday person) in my hands as a baby, watching her take her first step and her first words.  Little did I know that she would mutter another 2.5 billion words over the course of the next (number of years). I remember her coming home terrified after her first day of school. I also have fond memories of her first prom in her graduation from (highschool/college).  Today feels like a natural progression.

Has she changed over the last (enter years) twenty one years?  Yes and no. She has always been a girl with a tender heart, beauty, and unbridled intelligence.
I know that you're going to party later with your friends.  Always remember this - make sure the pleasures of youth don't bring you pain in your old age.

Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for (name of birthday person).
